Xiaomi Announced Poco F1’s Successor Yesterday, Coming to India Soon

Redmi just yesterday launched two new flagship killers – K20 and K20 Pro in China offers impressive specifications at crazy low pricing. New Redmi K20 packs Snapdragon 730 processor while its big brother K20 Pro features mighty Snapdragon 855 processor. It is no secret that Xiaomi will make these both the device available in the global market. But, maybe with new name tags.

Right now, Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro, both are China exclusive. But taking this boundary as a hint, this could be a reason that Xiaomi might want to promote these new handsets as Poco F2 name in India. So, Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro might be called as Poco F2 and Poco F2 Pro, respectively.

The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 was the undisputed 2018 flagship killer thanks to its impressive specifications and surprisingly low price. The smartphone is now nine months old, though, and that means a successor should be just around the corner. But according to one source, the replacements may have already been announced. Also, the upcoming Poco F1 successors will be retail at ‘astonishing’ pricing.

Well, at this point the official announcement date is yet to be known. Although, we think the device will most likely make its entry in India around July or August.

Xiaomi would not make changes to the current K20 and K20 Pro features though. New Poco F2 lineup would pack the same chipset as well as camera features. They might change the configurations according to the price points in India. If so, the Poco F2 will pack Snapdragon 730 chipset while the Poco F2 Pro will pack Snapdragon 855 processor. Let us know what do you think about it.
