There is nothing secret about Xiaomi’s new CC lineup. The company has teased the phone a week ago on their official Weibo handle. Today, the event held in China where Xiaomi has finally taken off the curtains from their new Xiaomi CC lineup and the first two devices are — Xiaomi CC9 and Xiaomi CC9e.
The company has a clever intention behind the name of this new lineup. The number ‘9’ shows the company’s age in years. Xiaomi turned 9 years old. However, this is not the first time though. If you remember, to celebrate the 8th birthday, the company skipped Mi 7 and jumped to Mi 8 Flagship last year.
Xiaomi CC9 and CC9e
New Mi CC9 and CC9e come with the exclusive camera tweaks made with the help of Meitu which global innovator in mobile video and photography, including beauty themed photo & video apps. Xiaomi acquired Meitu at the tail of 2018.
Xiaomi Mi CC9 features the 6.39-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 710 chipset coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Mi CC9 comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone is aimed for youth so, of course, it has a better camera sensor placed. On the rear side, there are a triple camera setup houses 48MP primary sensor paired with 8MP wide-angle lens and 2MP depth sensor.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi Mi CC9e is a base model in this lineup. It comes with Snapdragon 665 chipset. The phone comes with the 6.08-inch display. Other than that, all internal remains almost the same.
