Vivo Z5x to Launch on May 22 with Snapdragon 710, Punch Hole Display, and 5000mAh Battery

We have been hearing a lot of rumors from last week about the Vivo’s upcoming Z series device which will reportedly be called Vivo Z5x. This will be the company’s first device to launch with Punch Hole display in the market.

The poster reveals that the upcoming Vivo smartphone will be called Vivo Z5x and it’s launching on May 22 in China. The company doesn’t reveal anything else but the device listed on JD.com reveals the key specifications of Vivo Z5x.

Vivo Z5x to feature 6.53-inch FullHD+ display with punch hole notch. The device was earlier spotted on Geekbench that reveals it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset paired with 4GB/ 6GB/ 8GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB internal storage. The 8GB RAM variant managed to score 1848 in single-core and 5915 in multi-core tests.

Vivo Z5x is expected to pack 5000mAh battery with support of 18W fast charging. The geekbench listing also reveals that it will run on Android Pie based on FunTouch OS 9 out the box.

In terms of Camera, Render shows the Triple Rear camera array but the sensor information is not leaked yet. Also, The front camera lies inside the punch hole notch.

The device will be available in Extreme Night Black and Phantom Black color variants. The pricing and availability are unknown at the moment.
