We have seen a Chinese smartphone maker Vivo implementing new design ideas in its smartphones. The handsets are shipped with the FuntouchOS skin at the top of Android which comes with some Vivo exclusive features. However, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. But, over the last couple of months, the company has been actively introducing new features. This time they add the ‘Dual Wi-Fi Acceleration’ feature.
I know, it might make you a bit surprised. As the name speaks itself, the ‘Dual Wi-Fi Acceleration’ feature will allow Vivo smartphone user to connect his/her device with the two Wi-Fi networks at the same time to get high internet speed. Today, Vivo’s product manager showed-off this feature on his official Weibo handle. He shared a small video. However, everything is in the Chinese language.
Digging in further technical information, while explaining the new FuntouchOS feature, Vivo’s product manager said that by connecting a phone with the two Wi-Fi networks at the same time will provide more stable connection while gaming as well as the fast and smooth browsing experience. The device will support the botch 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks at the same time.

As we can see in the video, there is an option provided for the intelligent multi-network acceleration in the dual Wi-Fi enabled mobile phone. So, once the user will connect the phone with the main Wi-Fi network, s/he can tap on this option to connect the phone with another Wi-Fi network available.
So, as a result, the user will experience the increased download speed, a stable connection while playing game and smooth and fast web browsing experience.
