Vivo Announced its Own Sub-Brand Called iQOO; Likely to Launch New Smartphone Soon

Chinese smartphone manufacturers creating their own sub-brand is not a new thing. Huawei had a great success with their own sub-brand called Honor and following the same path, Recently Xiaomi made their own sub-brand called Redmi. Another OEM Oppo created Realme last year for the Indian market. Realme is getting a good response from the market as they achieved a 9% online market share just in 8 months of launch.

Just a week after Chinese new year Chinese Smartphone Manufacturer Vivo introduced its own sub-brand called iQOO with a futuristic teaser. The company also registered a new domain on iQOO.com which can’t be accessed as of now.

The Company also posted on their new Weibo account, “If you don’t know how to read “iQOO,” you are not alone. Do you know how to read our name” In just three hours that post gathered 1300+ comments.

Vivo and its sub-brand haven’t said a word about the new smartphone yet. But iQOO mentioned that they will send out one of their devices to the lucky follower tomorrow. So we might see the first device from iQOO very soon. It seems like a company has already planned launch and a couple of the models are ready to launch.

As per the news, the iQOO brand will launch the Gaming smartphone at the price around Rs. 50,000. Yet nothing is confirmed so we suggest you to wait for the official confirmation. We don’t even know yet if the new sub-brand will make it to India or not.
