Sharp Aquos R3 Announced with Dual Notch and 120Hz Display

The Smartphone Notch was the trend of the 2018 and most of the company is moving towards either Punch Hole display or the pop-up selfie camera, The Japanese company Sharp announced its flagship device with a dual notch.

The new Sharp Aquos R3 flaunts 6.2-inch quad-HD IGZO display with waterdrop notch and button cutout at the bottom. The device continues to offer Sharp’s trend by offering a 120Hz display. The higher refresh rate definitely improves the user experience and gaming experience on the device.

Sharp Aquos R3 is a flagship device and indeed packs flagship chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 which is further paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The battery capacity is 3200mAh which is not that great for a flagship device having a 120Hz display. Further, the 3200mAh battery can be charged using the 11W wireless charger.

Moving to the Camera Department, The dual Rear camera array houses 20MP sensor (f/2.4, 125-degree field of view) paired with 12.2MP, f/1.7 sensor. For the selfies and video calling sharp offers 16MP front-facing camera packed inside waterdrop notch.

The pricing of the device is unknown at the moment so it’s not easy to say whether the device is a good value for money product or not.
