Samsung Officially Announced It’s Upcoming Unpacked Event Date: Here’s What to Expect

When it comes to the smartphone brand, Samsung never lets you down. The South Korean giants every year makes great come back with their new piece of tech and gadgets at CES and sometimes at MWC. But from the last year, the company changes its route and it unveils new devices at their own event. Well, this year’s Unpacked event date has been officially announced by Samsung. It is scheduled for February 20 at San Francisco. Here’s what you should expect at this event.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Line-up

It seems the company is all into its Galaxy S10 lineup. And there is no doubt the ‘S’ series is getting even better every year. Though it also costs more. And as we all know the company has completed its 10 years and to celebrate the 10th anniversary, two new S10 models are coming to the market this year.

Its been while we are talking about S10 devices and if you keep yourself updated with the latest news, you might almost everything about it. After yesterday’s biggest report which reveals secrets of Galaxy S10 lineup, today we have the event date which excites all of the Samsung fans eagerly waiting for new devices: Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite, Samsung Galaxy S10, Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, and 5G Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus.

Samsung will unveil their upcoming Galaxy S10 lineup with the two different chipsets: Snapdragon 855 and Exynos 9820. But excluding this chipset difference, other features will remain the same. So, the devices are reported to be the IP68 certified and feature 20W charging (earlier it was rumored to have 15W) and Ice Universe mentioned it yesterday in his tweet. Further, all of four devices will be available in three different configurations:

  • 6GB+128GB
  • 8GB+512GB
  • 12GB+1TB

Galaxy Flex

Samsung has already shown a prototype of its foldable Galaxy Smartphone at the Samsung’s Developer Conference. And later on, reportedly, the prototype also made available at CES yesterday. Samsung’s foldable smartphone will come with two Super AMOLED display – primary and secondary. The primary display is 7.29-inch while the secondary display is 4-58-inch. Samsung is marketing this display as 7.3-inch and 4.9-inch as there isn’t a lot of difference.

Samsung stated the foldable phone is under development and will probably launch in the first half of 2019. For the first generation, the foldable phone company will only manufacture 1 million devices. Furthermore, Samsung also showcases the foldable phone at CES to the limited audience. Foldable phones might costs as high as $2000.
