Samsung Galaxy S10 Patents Confirm O-Infinity Display Technology

Earlier last month Samsung launched 4 new display technology in Samsung Developer Conference. As time goes Samsung realized that putting a notch in the device is necessary to make the display much bigger and reduce the bezels. With the O-Infinity Display upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 might sport the notch in O shape which will house the front camera.

O-Infinity Display:

O-Infinity display sports the notch at the left side of the top corner which houses the camera – that’s what we have seen in the SWC. But apart from that Samsung patents 24 O-Infinity Display patent which shows punch notch at the different positions of the screen. You can check out below images for reference.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Series:

Samsung is planning to launch 4 devices at least in 2019 Q1. Which could be S10, S10 Plus, S10 Mini (budget version), S10 Plus 5G version. There could be more as per the reports. Well, The not all devices will be 5G ready in 2019 at least.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Series will be powered by Snapdragon 855/ 8150 or Exynos 9820 and to be launched in different variants.

Talking about the Display, It will have O-Infinity display with very minimal bezels at top and bottom. Samsung is going to use Ultra Sonic In-Display fingerprint technology to place it under the display and for that ditching the Iris scanner. The Ultra Sonic In-Display fingerprint sensor will be 2 times faster than the Optical Fingerprint sensor.

Tech Giant company is trying to redesign its smartphone to launch it on their 10th year so they will try to make it a beast.
