Samsung has been launching two variants of its flagship S and Note series from the last couple of years. Samsung Galaxy S and Note series got Qualcomm flagship processor for North America, China, and South Africa while other regions got the Exynos variant. Samsung’s In-house chipset Exynos was in lead a few years back but Qualcomm has surpassed Exynos in last few years especially in terms of GPU performance.
The XDA Developers tested different games on both the device while also measuring the key aspects like Frame rate, CPU usage and more. Both the devices have identical specifications except for the chipset. Before we move on and see the gaming performance let’s have a look at the benchmark result first.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 gives a better and consistent performance while Gaming. While Exynos 9820 gets the rare frame drops and sometimes lag is noticeable. So, If you’re a hardcore gamer then I would suggest you not to buy any Exynos device.
