Samsung has announced yet another M series smartphone in India to take on the Redmi and Realme devices. Samsung Galaxy M40 comes with the unique punch hole display that we have seen in other Samsung flagship devices and powerful mid-range chipset Snapdragon 675.
It retains the plastic build from its younger sibling Galaxy M30 and rainbow-like gradient finish to its back. The device features 6.3-inch TFT LCD display with FullHD+ resolution with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has the punch hole notch at the top left corner that give better display experience.
Samsung Galaxy M40 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 mid-range SoC which is further paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Furthermore, The storage can be expanded up to 512GB via MicroSD card.
In terms of Optics, The Triple Camera array on rear features 32MP (f/1.7) primary camera sensor coupled with 8MP (f/2.2) Ultra-Wide sensor and 5MP (f/2.2) depth sensor. For the selfies and video calling 16MP (f/2.0) lens houses inside the punch hole notch.
Samsung Galaxy M40 is using screencasting technology, In which screen vibrates and creates sound when you get a call. There is no earpiece or headphone jack in Galaxy M40. To solve that issue, Samsung is giving USB-C earphones inside the box.
The device packs 3500mAh battery that too support 15W fast charging. It runs on Android Pie based on OneUI out of the box.

Samsung Galaxy M40 will be available in Midnight Blue and Seawater Blue color option and will be available on Amazon and Samsung Online Shop starting from June 19th. It comes in 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage option and it’s priced at Rs. 19,990.
