YouTuber Found Guilty, Sentenced to 15 Months Jail

Well known Spain YouTuber Kan-Hua Ren which is known as ReSet punished for 15 months jail and 20,000 euros for humiliating a beggar. Back in January 2017, ReSet published a video on his YouTube channel. He was completing a challenge given by one of his followers.

Well, in the video he was offering homeless guy biscuits having toothpaste in between them. Kuan-Hua Ren found guilty and on Friday court said to punish him with 15 months of jail. However, he won’t likely have to serve that much of. Ren was also ordered to pay 20,000 Euros in compensation to the victim. Furthermore, his channel now will be closed for the next five years.

The amount is not small though. If we convert it to India Rupees it roughly makes Rs. 15,58,300.

ReSet was challenged by one of his followers to fil himself removing cream from biscuits and replace it with the toothpaste. He was 19 at that time.

“Maybe I went a little far, but let’s look at the positive side, it will help him clean his teeth, I don’t think he has often brushed his teeth since he became poor,” Ren to his followers.

The video went viral and everyone was angry on him. So, he went back to see that man and gave him EUR 20. And uploaded a new video on his channel. “If I had done this with a normal person, no-one would have said a thing, but as he is a beggar people are complaining.”

His channel is now up on YouTube. And right now he uploads gaming videos. His has two different channels.
