Redmi sold more than 8 million Y series smartphones in India in last two years and the company launched its successor today with the upgraded selfie camera sensor and Snapdragon 632 SoC.
Redmi Y3 is a selfie-centric device which is said to have the best selfie camera in any smartphone. Redmi installed 32MP Selfie camera which is best available in the market as of now. The same camera sensor was also used in the Vivo V15 Pro and upcoming Honor 20 will have the same sensor.

Redmi Y3 features 32MP Super Selfie Camera inside the dot notch display. The selfie camera has some features like AI Portrait Selfies, FHD+ Recording with EIS Support, Screen Flash, 80 Degree Field of View of Group Selfies, and Palm Shutter.
The dual rear camera features a 12MP (1.25μm sensor) primary camera sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor. The rear camera has some key features like AI Portrait photos, AI Scene detections, Google Lens, and FullHD+ Video recording at 60fps with EIS.

Redmi Y3 upgrades the battery capacity from its predecessor and packs 4000mAh Battery. It runs on MIUI 10 based on Android Pie. It comes with 10W standard charger inside the box. Redmi Y3 has traditional MicroUSB port, headphone jack and also sports IR Scanner at the top.
