Redmi’s Upcoming Snapdragon 855 Phone will Have NFC Support: Lu Weibing

After getting separated from Xiaomi, a sub-brand Redmi is quite taking the game. The company revealed two of its budget handsets and now, according to the new rumors, the company could be working on a new device that will carry a mighty Snapdragon 855 chipset under the hood.

As appeared on Xiaomi’s Vice President Lu Weibing’s official Weibo handle, upcoming Redmi’s Snapdragon 855 powered device will have NFC support, wireless charging feature and 3.5mm headphone jack. Apparently, the information seems to be true because things are kicked off by VP on his official Weibo handle.

Support for 3.5mm headphone jack in the flagship device could be a nice move. So far all the premium handsets are getting rid of it. Well, moving eyes over the previous leaks and rumors, Redmi’s upcoming Snapdragon 855 powered handset will pack 48MP sensor as a primary camera and the depth sensor as a secondary. Furthermore, it won’t sport any notch on the top nor large bezels.

No further information revealed by Vice President. But, we think the would come by the end of 2019 in the market. So, there are more surprises to be watered on the timeline in the upcoming days.
