Redmi Note 7 Pro Launch Set For Next Week; Says Redmi Executive

The Redmi Note 7 was launched in China last month and will go official in India on February 28. While Redmi Note 7 is doing really well in Chinese market company has decided to launch its bigger sibling next week. The Redmi executive Lu Weubing confirmed that on Weibo.

The weibo post mentions that Redmi Note 7 Pro will use Sony IMX 586 48MP Camera sensor instead of Samsung’s GM 1 camera sensor which is present in Redmi Note 7. Below is the comparison of Samsung GM 1 sensor and Sony IMX 586 Sensor.

Redmi Note 7 Pro Specifications:

Redmi Note 7 Pro will have the same design as Redmi Note 7. That means it will have glass sandwich design and waterdrop notch at the top. The device will have a 6.3-inch IPS LCD Display with 2340 x 1080 pixels and Full HD+ resolution.

Redmi Note 7 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 675 chipset coupled with 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The Redmi Note 7 Pro will pack 4000mAh battery just like the other Redmi device, The massive battery in the device will also support 18W fast charging. You can charge or transfer the file using the USB C port.

Talking of the Optics, Redmi Note 7 Pro will have a true 48MP Sony IMX 586 camera sensor coupled with a 5MP sensor. We have seen Sony IMX 586 48MP camera sensor in the semi flagship devices like Honor View 20, and upcoming Xiaomi Mi 9 will have same camera sensor.
