Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is teasing its upcoming flagship device from last few days and the company finally confirms the key specifications of Redmi K20 on its Weibo account. Also, Redmi shared the live image of the device that gives us the first look of Redmi K20.
Redmi K20 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset which will be further paired with 6GB/ 8GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB/ 256GB internal storage. Although the poster just reveals the information about the processor.
The leaked information says Redmi K20 will have flagship standard AMOLED display with a support of 7th gen In-display fingerprint sensor. The optical In-Display fingerprint sensor of Redmi K20 is 15% bigger than other sensors and unlocks 10% faster than the previous generation sensor. The company claims that it will also work with wet fingers.
Redmi to hold Triple Rear Camera array on Redmi K20 which will reportedly house 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor paired with a telephoto lens and wide angle lens. For the selfie and video calling Redmi K20 to use Pop-up selfie camera feature to avoid notch display.
Redmi K20 to pack 4000mAh massive battery with support of 27W fast charging. The device supports 27W fast charging but we are not sure if the company will provide 27W fast charger in the box or not. Redmi K20 to run on Android Pie based on MIUI 10 out the box with some extra features.
Redmi K20 is set to launch in China on May 28. The device is also expected to launch in India as it was teased by Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain. Although India launch is yet not confirmed we suggest you wait for it.
