With the Redmi Note 7 Pro Xiaomi’s spin-off brand Redmi sets the stage for some best budget handsets in India. Since Redmi Note 7 Pro announced, people just went crazy and why not, it offers better internals at a lower price. Well, one of the main factors is the true 48MP camera sensor on the rear side. The company has sold out over 2 million pieces in India starting from its first sale as per the recent report.
According to the new report on Weibo, Redmi could be preparing its 64MP camera phone which will house the Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor. FYI, Samsung introduced its two new image sensors back in May – 64MP ISOCELL GW1 and 48MP ISOCELL GM2. You can spot 48MP ISOCELL GM2 in many of recently launched smartphone like Redmi Note 7. But, remaining 64MP ISOCELL GW1 has to make debut yet.
There are reports that the first phone to sport this sensor could be Galaxy A70S which is supposed to be launched later this year. So, Redmi’s 64MP phone won’t be the first handset. Now, it might take some time to prepare the Redmi smartphone. Since we have no clues about the official date for Galaxy A70s device.
