A rapidly growing smartphone brand Realme seems taking over budget-premium handsets. We already have Realme X offering premium-like features in-terms of design, however, as promised, today, Realme released their new Realme XT in India. So-called with ‘Dare to More Premium’ tagline, the phone features quad-camera setup on the rear side which packs world’s first 64MP sensor.
To begin with, Realme XT was a part of rumor articles for the last couple of days since the first time Realme showed-off it as a prototype. Now, it is official along with some new official Realme accessories including Realme buds wireless, Realme power bank and Realme XT case.
Realme XT At A Glance
To begin the launch, Madhav Sheth, traditionally came on the stage and shared some progress of Realme India company over the months. Then Sheth moved to Realme XT and invited Nidhi Bhatia on stage to make it official.

The all-new Realme XT is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 mobile platform which is paired with the up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Upfront, it features 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display having a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The display comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. This time, Realme followed a new design for the rear side which termed as Hyperbola Light Effect. In addition, Realme XT is the world’s first handset with this ID design.
Realme XT features quad-camera design on the rear side which houses 64MP primary camera, 8MP wide-angle camera, 2MP micro camera, and 2MP depth sensor while on the front it comes with 16MP camera, as a part of a water-drop style notch. As an energy source, Realme XT packs 4,000mAh battery which supports 20W VOOC fast charging. The same charger you get in the box.

Realme XT 730G Coming in December



Madhav Sheth also announced few tidbits about upcoming Realme XT 730G variant which is likely an upgraded Realme XT with all same features except under the hood, it will pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor. Furthermore, this variant will support Realme’s 30W VOOC Flash charge.
Sheth said they will announce more information in December.
Availability



Realme XT will go for sale on September 16 at 12 PM. The phone comes in two different color options — Pearl Blue and Pearl White. It will be available on Realme.com and Flipkart. As a part of accessories, the phone comes with a case inside the box, however, you can buy a new iconic Realme case for just Rs. 399 from Realme.com website.
