Oppo’s subbrand Realme launched a new smartphone today in India targetting more selfie lovers. The device sports the Helio P70 chipset which makes it the first device to use the Helio P70 chipset. #1. Enable Navigation Gesture

Realme U1 offers whole new navigation gestures just like iOS or Android Pie. You can enable gestures by heading towards the setting application. You can set the gesture like swipe up for home, swipe from right for back or other.

To Enable, go to Settings –> Smart & Convenient –> Navigation Keys.

#2. Network Speed Indicator

Network speed indicator is a very handy feature. It also helps sometimes to know whether your wifi is working or not or your data is left or not.

To Enable, Settings –> Notification and Statusbar –> Real-time Network Speed

#3. Enable Night Mode 

The night mode can come in handy when you are surfing something midnight or you’re reading something. The white theme can cause eye strain if you use your device for longer periods.

To Enable, Drag Down Notification Panel –> Night Mode -> Enable

#4. Screen recording 

If you want to record something from the screen then you can do that on your device without downloading third-party applications. ColorOS does have the same feature inside the device. You can also record sound along with the screen.

To Enable, Swipe Down Notification Panel –> Start Screen Recording –> Allow Sound Recording

#5. Enable Assistive Ball 

Assistive ball feature is very inspired by the assistive touch in iPhones. You can navigate anything from anywhere on your screen. You can also add application or function to the assistive ball.

To Enable, Settings –> Smart & Convenient –> Assistive Ball –> Enable

#6. Create Clone Applications

The Realme U1 also supports cloning of apps. This feature lets you create two or three application in the same device. You can use two WhatsApp, facebook, any game account simultaneously without changing the account.

To Enable, Setting –> Clone Apps –> Select App –> Enable App Cloning

#7. Turn on Gestures 

These gestures can be handy when the screen is off and you want to open any particular app directly from the lock screen. You can enable features like,

  • Double tap to turn the screen on
  • Draw O to start a camera
  • Draw V to open torchlight
  • Music Control: Draw || to pause/play a track, draw < or > to switch the track

To Enable, Settings –> Smart & Convenient –> Gesture & Motion –> Screen-off Gestures.

#8. Enable Three Finger Screenshot 

Three finger screenshot is a very useful feature. You don’t have to press the power key and volume key for a few seconds to screenshot. This is more fast and accurate.

To Enable, Settings -> Smart & Convenient -> Gesture & Motion.

#9. Enable USB OTG Connection

Using the OTG cable you can connect the pen drive to the mobile and transfer the files between Pendrive and mobile device. To do this transfer you need to first enable the connection from the settings.

To Enable, Settings –> Additional Settings –> OTG connection –> Enable

#10. Split Screen

Split screen feature really comes in handy when you want to use two application simultaneously when your device has a bigger display.
