[UPDATE: DECEMBER 12, 2018]: Yes, now it is possible to install working Google Camera for RealMe devices. The post is already up on our website. Check out a new method on the following post.
Realme 2 Pro launched recently and it checks maximum boxes for the perfect smartphones expect few. Maybe you should check out our other article on why you shouldn’t buy Realme 2 Pro.
Realme 2 Pro has the great camera sensor with f/1.7 aperture. The same camera sensor was used in the OnePlus 5T. But what if you can get an even better camera without using the stock camera app. Google camera is a great app to take better photos from any device. If you can use Google camera on Realme 2 Pro, Photos will shine because Realme 2 Pro stock camera is limited and can’t capture all the details. Stock camera is still great but Google Camera is even better.
Talking about the Google Camera, It required Camera 2API and EIS enabled in the device and if either of the things is not enabled by a company you can’t use the Gcam in your device.
Realme 2 Pro doesn’t have Camera 2API enabled so you can’t use Google camera on your device. On other devices, you can manually enable the Camera 2API by giving fast boot commands but Realme doesn’t provide the source code or you can’t even unlock the bootloader so there isn’t an option do that.
What you can do as of now is, Request the company to request to let user unlock the bootloader or at least support the Camera 2API.
And If you still want a give a chance then here is the Google Camera port:
Download Suitable Google Camera (Give it a Try)
Note: This application will not work as there is no Camera 2API enabled in the device.
