Every Month security team at Google releases a new security patch for the Android – and every month manufacturer has to provide that security update to their device. But they struggle to do that and most of the company doesn’t provide the updates and that compromises the user’s security.
So, Google decided to make a new contract. In which every OEM using Android has to provide security updates every month in a specific time limit given by Google. Contract mentioned that every device launched after 31st January 2018. The company has to provide the security patch update in time.
