It is no secret that OnePlus is now busy in preparation of OnePlus 7 Pro launch coming on May 14. This year the company will be launching three devices at the same stage – OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G.
Small information about upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro surfacing online slowly. If you are not living under the rock, OnePlus 7 Pro will sport a new 90Hz display which will cost 3x more than a basic OLED display. Yesterday, we went through its lab test result which shows us that it will be one of the best OLED display in the market right now. And it managed to get A+ score in the test which means the colors will be brighter and accurate.
Although, today, information came on Twitter. OnePlus will call that display a “Fluid AMOLED”. Now, it does some magic. Since we know it has a 90Hz refresh rate. But, the refresh rate won’t be fixed. According to Max J. who takes interest sometime in leaking information says, the display will be able to change the refresh rate from 60Hz to 90Hz.
Now, I am not sure whether this will be done by software or there be manual settings. But, looking forward to existing display tech by Apple in iPad Pro which sports 120Hz display, it manages to change refresh rate by itself depending upon the user activity. It good to see such kind of improvement on smartphones. Let us know what do you think about this in the comment section below.
