The company states that it is a part of the “earliest group of manufactures” all the companies will be working closely with Google to release their updates and features fast and with fewer bugs. It has also created Team FSE (fast, smooth, efficient) to help ensure that OnePlus devices offer the “fastest and smoothest user experience available.”
The OnePlus 6 will be the first non-pixel phone to join the Android P beta. The company is criticized for not providing an update for the older devices in past. But after OnePlus 3 company is more focusing on Updates. Other OnePlus devices won’t get Android P beta So, OnePlus 6 will be an only OnePlus device to get Android P Beta.
OnePlus also states that it prioritizes pushing out Android security patch updates within two months of release.
