Nokia 9 PureView with Five Cameras on Rear and in-display Fingerprint Sensor Announced

Finally HMD Global has announced their first (actually world’s first) Penta-camera phone at Mobile World Congress 2019. The event has a lot more exciting products in their ways. Today we have seen the Huawei’s Mate X – a foldable smartphone and 5G enabled Mi Mix 3 from Xiaomi. Now, the HMD Global has its Penta-camera phone to show-off.

The main highlight is of course cameras which come with ZEISS optics. We will talk about it in a bit. But, looking upon other features, the device packed with the in-display fingerprint sensor, 5.99-inches massive Quad HD OLED display with HDR10 support. All of these things will be powered by the 3320 mAh battery. And to control everything Snapdragon 845 is under the hood.

The smartphone features 12MP Penta-camera setup, two of which are RGB and three are monochrome lenses to capture the 10-times lighter than a single color sensor. The device software is designed so well that it captures the HDR shot using the five cameras simultaneously merges them all together results in 12MP image with the outstanding dynamic range and depth of field.
