Nokia 9 could be the most awaited smartphone of the 2018/2019. Earlier sources were told that Nokia 9 will launch in December but for some reason, the launch is delayed and this time it’s being said by Nokia Anew that the device launch will take place on last week of January.
Before CES and MWC, Nokia will be launching the Nokia 9 PureView device so that means Nokia has more thing to show at those big events.
Camera:
Nokia 9 PureView is a camera-centric phone so let’s talk about the camera first. At the back 7 ring is appear, out of the 5 are Zeiss camera lenses and one is dual-tone flash, the rest one seems to be the sensor.
The function of 3 Camera sensors are as following:
- telephoto lens
- wide-angle lens
- depth-sensing camera
other two sensors could be monochrome and main camera lens. The render also shows Zeiss branding between two cameras. As there isn’t a PureView branding in a render, Nokia might bring iconic PureView brand in the market.
Display and Design
Nokia 9 will likely sport a 5.9-inch Quad HD Display with the 18:9 aspect ratio. Very minimal side bezels are visible and top and bottom have a huge bezel. There isn’t any fingerprint sensor visible on the device, so the device might come with the In-Display fingerprint sensor.
Nokia 9 does have USB-C port but the device is missing the headphone jack which is kinda disappointing. The device has a glass back and aluminium frames. The glass back is used to make it work for wireless charging which is a great option for a flagship device.
Hardware and Software:
Nokia 9 will likely sport Snapdragon 845 coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The leak indicates that it will run on Android 9 Pie out of the box. Nokia approaches the stock android and this device will be based on the Android One program so the update will be faster than other devices. It packs 4150mAh battery to run all day. Nokia 9 will be IP certified water and dust resistance.
Launch Date and Pricing:
The device is expected to launch in January next year because of the delay. Pricing hasn’t been leaked yet but it will be the most expensive Nokia phone.
