Nokia 8.1 Plus Looks Elegant in Renders

HMD Global’s Nokia is quite a controversial topic right now for tech websites. And why not the company is planning to launch its first, in fact, the world’s first Penta-camera phone – Nokia 9 Pureview at the end of this month. While it is also arguably true that other engineers would be working on other devices as well. And Nokia 8.1 Plus might be another new handset from HMD Global which we might see within the first half of 2019.

Nokia 8.1 Plus will come with Infinity-O display

A popular leaker Evan Blass who also makes renders of smartphones published a new video in collaboration with 91Mobiles gives a hint about the Nokia 8.1 Plus design. It seems the finally HMD Global has adopted the Infinity-O display for Nokia devices which was first introduced by Samsung in Galaxy A8s. I am being happy after this render because of the smaller chin on the bottom with a Nokia logo on it.

Over the back, Nokia 8.1 Plus could feature dual camera setup. Yet, hard say which lenses it will house. And beneath the camera, the fingerprint sensor is placed. There is nothing new in this design. From the last couple of devices, Nokia has been following this design and made it as traditional one. So, the device might wear the same design except it will have glass on the rear side.

Further, there is AndroidOne logo on the bottom which also guarantees for getting the 2 updates for sure. As of now, we don’t have information about the specifications. The company launched Nokia 8.1 in the previous year with the rectangular notch on the front. With the Nokia 8.1 Plus, its successor, it seems the company is trying to replace its previous variant. But for sure we will give you an early update about its specifications as it comes on the web.
