HMD Global announced Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 4.2 and Nokia 3.2 last month at MWC 2019. One of the Android One smartphones finally makes debut in India with the price tag of Rs. 10,990.
Nokia 4.2 is basically the same smartphone that was launched last month. There is no difference in SoC, Storage Variant or Colors. Nokia 4.2 will be exclusively available on Nokia.com for the next seven days and then it will be available through select retail outlets from 14th May. Nokia 4.2 is available in Black and Pink Sand colors and is priced at ₹10,990.
Nokia 4.2 flaunts 5.71-inch HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and selfie notch (That’s what Nokia calls it). The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 Octa-Core chipset paired with 2GB/ 3GB DDR3 RAM and 16GB/ 32GB internal storage. Furthermore, The storage can be expanded up to 400GB via MicroSD card. However in India, only 3GB/ 32GB variant is available.
Talking of Optics, Nokia 4.2 has a dual rear camera array which houses 13MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor. For the selfies and video calling Nokia 4.2 features 8MP selfie shooter inside Selfie notch.
Nokia 4.2 packs 3000mAh battery which can be charged using standard 10W charger through MicroUSB port. The device runs on Android Pie out the box under Android One program so it will receive two major Android updates for sure.
