Yesterday, LG’s new patent surfaced online registered with the World Intellectual Property Office better known as WIPO. The patent shows a basic sketch of an upcoming LG device which could sport triple front cameras. The diagram attached below reveals some major design information.
Sketches above show the rough design of the upcoming LG smartphone. You can there is three front camera placement on the big notch. It appears the notch would be small in terms of height. Right now, we are not aware of each of the camera functions. But, of course, as we have seen in other premium phones, on the front, there must be a standard lens, wide-angle lens, and ToF sensor.
There is a triple camera design on the rear side as well. Beneath the camera placements, the fingerprint sensor is provided. On the right side, the power key located and a SIM and microSD card tray. For now, comparing the sketch with LG V50, you can expect the same front as LG V50.
One thing is worth to note here that there is no headphone jack sketched in drawings. Is LG planning to leave the headphone jack trend? It is quite a hard thing to accept. Although keeping in mind this is a patent, it could be a final design as well. There are people who feel okayish with no headphone jack on their smartphones.
