Lenovo Introduced World’s First Snapdragon 855 Smartphone in China; Priced at Rs. 45,000

Lenovo is doing really well lately in China which company proved by launching another smartphone today in China. Lenovo introduced the world’s first Snapdragon 855 phone coupled with massive 12GB of RAM. The newer variant of Lenovo Z5 Pro sports Snapdragon 855 instead of the Snapdragon 710; most of the other specs remain same as the budget variant.

Lenovo Z5 Pro sports a 6.39-inch FHD+ display, which Lenovo claims to have 95.06% screen to body ratio. The display used is AMOLED and also support HDR 10 content.

Talking of the main upgrade, This device is packed with Snapdragon 855 coupled with massive 12GB of RAM which makes it the fastest device in the world as per Antutu. The company also revealed the Antutu score and compared it with the other devices.

Lenovo Z5 Pro running Snapdragon 855 and coupled with 12GB of RAM outperforms other devices in Antutu Benchmark. Apart from that, This device is packed with 512GB of internal storage. 

Talking of the Optics, It sports a 24-megapixel ( Sony IMX576) + 16-megapixel (Sony IMX519) dual camera setup. At the front, It has 16MP + 8MP dual front camera setup to take better selfies and video calling.

The headset sports the carbon fiber texture and red colored frames which looks great. The headset runs on Android Pie based on ZUI 10 out of the box. It is packed with 3350mAh battery and also supports the fast charging.

  • 8 GB RAM + 512 GB storage – 4398 Yuan (~$638/ Rs.45,259)

The Pre-Sale of Lenovo Z5 Pro Snapdragon 855 variant will start on January 1 10AM and the official sales scheduled to start on Jan. 24.
