After the record-breaking success of the first generation JioPhone, Reliance Jio has announced a second-generation JioPhone named as JioPhone 2 a few days ago at the 41st General Annual Meeting. The phone has now compatibility to run more third-party applications. Especially the company has highlighted the WhatsApp, YouTube and Facebook applications.
Reliance Jio is now bringing ‘Jio Monsoon Hungama’ exchange offer and under that, anyone can exchange their mobile phone with the new JioPhone. With the announcement of JioPhone 2, the company has announced few lines regarding the exchange offer. But, not the complete details are given. Well, I am here to clear everything and help you.
As a part of the Jio Monsoon Hungama offer, you can exchange the older featured phone of any brand that you are using right now excluding JioPhone, by paying just Rs. 501. Now, here’s a question, what you will get in return? In return, you will get the older first-generation JioPhone which was launched earlier in 2017. You will not get the newer JioPhone 2.

The company has updated their terms and conditions and there are a few lines added. The company has clearly mentioned that under the Jio Monsoon Hungama offer, the customer will only be able to get the older JioPhone once they pay Rs. 501 and give their old feature phone. Furthermore, the amount which you will pay to exchange your old feature phone, it is non-refundable. So, please note that you will not be able to get it back in your wallet or bank account.
As the company has announced, the Monsoon Hungama offer will become live from July 21. So, I hope everything is clear. There is no any offer on their new JioPhone. If you want, you will be able to purchase it after August 15 for Rs. 2,999 which is now doubled.
