Apple launched three devices in September 2018 dubbed as iPhone Xr, iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max. The iPhone Xr is the budget device costs approx $750 or Rs. 72,000. The device is already doing well but not as expected because recently Apple had to cut down the production.
As per the report from CIRP, Apple sold 39 percent of iPhone Xr of total iPhone sales in the U.S. The other iPhone model iPhone Xs and Xs Max combined sale is 26 percent even lower than the iPhone Xr sale. CIRP report also reveals that iPhone Xs the successor of iPhone X emerged as the most unpopular iPhone in the market.
It has been underlined that iPhone Xs Max outsold the iPhone Xs by more the 2 to 1 ratio.
Earlier this month, A report from counter point research revealed that iPhone Xr sales are much better than the combined sales of iPhone Xs and Xs Max. Also Tim Cook in a interview with CNBC said that iPhone Xr is the best selling iPhone of the last quartor of 2018.
The basis of the data published by CIRP is a survey of 500 Apple customers in the US who purchased an iPhone, iPad, Mac computer, or an Apple Watch in the October-December 2018 period.
