Huawei Y9 Prime (2019) will Be Soon Launched in India

It appears Huawei is preparing the launch of its self-elevating camera phone might be called Huawei Y9 Prime (2019). The device will remain to Amazon-exclusive since Right Brothers spotted an official banner of Huawei Y9 Prime (2019). The device is debuting in India by the end of this month. However, there isn’t information on the exact launch date.

The giant e-commerce website Amazon teased a banner of Huawei Y9 Prime (2019). The banner doesn’t show the device itself though. But, following the shadow, we can confirm, it will have a pop-up selfie camera. FYI, this smartphone has already been launched in China, so we can expect this Indian variant with the same specifications for now.

Huawei Y9 Prime (2019) could pack home-manufactured Octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 710 processor under the hood along with the ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. Upfront, there will be 6.59-inch Full HD+ display with the 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and 391ppi pixel density.

The Chinese variant of Huawei Y9 Prime comes in two different configurations — 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB. So, you can expect the same two configurations for Indian variants as well. As far as optics go, the phone features triple camera design on the rear side. It houses the 16MP (f/1.8 aperture) primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and 2MP (f/2.4 aperture) depth-sensor.

While over the front, it offers 16MP selfie camera which is located on the pop-up trey to capture selfies. Out-of-the-box, Huawei Y9 Prime (2019) will run on EMUI skin at the top of Android 9 Pie. And to power up everything, it will pack 4,000 mAh battery under the hood.

According to the unknown source who remains to stay anonymous told GSM Arena that Huawei Y9 Prime will get a price tag of Rs. 20,000. So, clearly with this price tag, Huawei aims to compete with the recently launched Redmi K20 along with the Realme X.
