Honor announced Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro smartphone in India today. Alongside two new smartphone company also unveils the two new tablets at the budget price for the Indian consumers. Honor Pad 5 comes in 8-inch and 10.1-inch display size and packs different specifications.
Honor Pad 5 is basically a rebranded version of Huawei MediaPad T5 with an Honor branding. Both the tablets come with a boxy design and thick bezels. Honor Pad 5 has the stereo speakers; However, The 10.1-inch variant comes with Harmon Kardon-tuned speaker that should offer better sound experience.
Honor Pad 5 has the same resolution display despite having different display size – WUXGA (1920 x 1200 pixels) resolution. The Honor Pad 5 8-inch variant comes with Kirin 710 12nm processor whereas 10.1-inch variant comes with Kirin 659 Processor. Both the tablets run on Android Pie-based MagicUI out of the box in India.
Honor Pad 5 comes in 3GB RAM paired with 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM paired with 64GB internal storage.
On the Optics Side, Honor Pad 5 features an 8MP camera with no LED flash. On the front, 8-inch Pad features an 8MP sensor while 10.1-inch Pad features a 2MP sensor. Honor Pad 5 packs 5100mAh massive battery. The company didn’t mention fast charging support so that remains unknown at this moment.

Honor Pad 5 will be available in Glacial Blue color option on Flipkart starting from next month.
