For Xiaomi fans this could be the great news. In yesterday’s interview, CEO Lei Jun stressed upcoming Xiaomi’s 5G device. As you might know, the Xiaomi has already tested a 5G network on Mi Mix 3 device which allows the user to get around 2Gbps of downloading speed. Xiaomi is focused on its schedule and it will launch the 5G device in the first half of 2019.

Lei Jun said the 5G era can promote the other product developments of Xiaomi Internet services. Also, it can boost the demand for smartphones. However, there is always the downside of positive thinking. As I said, Redmi launched a device which will cost very less. And there for future Mi devices might get the increased price tag or you can say premium price tag with the high-end specifications.
