Redmi is now an individual company which is working for its own growth in the smartphone market. The company recently launched Note 7 device with the ‘Redmi’ on the back side coupled with the ‘by Xiaomi’ text. But, that doesn’t end up here. Redmi Note 7 has its bigger brother – Redmi Note 7 Pro coming later in the upcoming month.
Redmi Note 7 houses dual camera sensors on the rear side – 48MP and 5MP. The 48MP sensor which works as the main sensors houses Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor having a size of 1/2 inch. Although, some researchers have found that Snapdragon 660 listing shows that it only supports the 25MP camera. Now, it quite seems to be a mystery. You can get info here.
Recently, a tech reviewer TechTablets has shared a video in which he tries the Google camera on Redmi Note 7 and compared clicked images with the MIUI’s stock camera. Of course, the result should be better with the Google camera. So, the same he gets here. The images which are clicked with the Google camera from Redmi Note 7 contains incredible details and the proper amount of light. While the stock camera believes in smoothness much. Even at night, it seems the Google camera passed the test with good ranks.
Earlier Xiaomi smartphones don’t come with the Camera2API enabled. So, the user has to modify build.prop to enable Camera2API or unlocked bootloader to run fastboot command. But there isn’t the case with Redmi Note 7. The device comes with the Camera2API enabled by default. So, you can install Google Camera downloading APK.
