Indian Space Research Organization, better known as ISRO, now has another success for the Chandrayaan-2 mission. On July 22, ISRO has successfully put the Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft into the earth orbit and now it is revolving around the earth. And it sent by a vehicle which was named as GSLV MkIII-M1. It carried the 3840kg Chandrayaan-2 to space and put it into the earth’s orbit.

The GSLV MkII-M1 vehicle lifted off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR launch pad at 2:43 PM on July 22. And after 16 minutes and 14 seconds, this vehicle successfully injected the Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft into the earth’s orbit. And it is another huge success for the Indian Space Research Organization while the proud moment for all Indian people.

Chandrayaan-2 is India’s second mission to the moon. The main objective of this mission is to develop and demonstrate the key technologies for end-to-end lunar mission capability, including soft-landing and roving on the lunar surface.

Put simply, the mission aims to expand the knowledge about the moon by doing a detailed study of its mineralogy, surface chemical composition, topography, thermo-physical characteristics, and atmosphere. It would help to better understand the moon’s behavior and atmospheric changes over time.

GSLV MkIII – M1 is the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle which is also called the Launch Vehicle Mark 3. The vehicle built with a cost of Rs. 414 crores. And I am here with Full HD+ wallpapers of this GSLV Mark 4 vehicle. The images are clicked while it was left off the launch pad. And believe me, those are looking so much satisfying.
