Magisk is probably the most preferred way to root your Android device. It’s more versatile and on the same way easy to gain root by simply flashing a ZIP file. People often go for Magisk root because it offers some best Magisk modules to use and make tweaks on your phone. Rooting your Android device using Magisk is a systemless method. That means it doesn’t actually change the Android’s system partition.
Furthermore, if you are using any banking application on your device then Magisk lets you hide your device’s root status for those apps.

First, How to Install and Uninstall Magisk Modules?
If you have not already set up the Magisk on your Android device then check out our guide. It will make easy for you to install Magisk and root your Android device.
Now I am guessing you have Magisk installed on your device. So, let’s take a look at how to install Magisk modules on your device to get most out of it.
Installing Magisk Module
- Open Magisk. Slide the sidebar on screen by tapping on the three lines located left side upper corner.
- Tap on the Downloads. You will see tons of Magisk modules available to download and use them. You can search one for your self by tapping on the search icon located over the right side upper corner.
- To install Magisk module, click on the download icon next to the module name.
- You should get a dialogue box on screen from where you have to choose, install.
- It will take a little bit of time to get downloaded and installed on your device. Once the installation starts, you will get the black screen and after finishing it, choose Reboot.
Removing Magisk Modules
- To remove Magisk module, slide the sidebar on the screen by tapping on three lines located on the left side upper corner.
- Go into Modules. You will see all the installed Magisk modules there.
- To uninstall Magisk modules, the tap on the Uninstall button next to the module name.
Best Magisk Modules to Use in 2022
Do make sure I haven’t attached any download link here. Because you have to install it by yourself by doing a manual search in the Magisk modules library.
01. App Systemizer
If you have ever gone through settings on your mobile phone, you probably know about the system applications. Your smartphone will not allow you to uninstall system applications. They can only be disabled.
App Systemizer will allow you to convert other third-party applications into system apps. Thus, they can be only disabled, can’t be uninstalled. App Systemizer uses systemless method to convert third-party apps into system apps. That means it doesn’t actually change the Android’s system partition.
The App Systemizer app actually has two different versions available. One is a GUI version, while another one is the Terminal app. The Magisk module repository offers you to install the Terminal app. Once you install the Magisk module, you have given just one command through ADB portal.

02. ARCore/Playground Patcher
If you want to add support for Google ARCore on your device, then this would be the best Magisk module for you. You can get Google AR Core support on your device and later on you can install Google Playground to play with the AR Sticker characters.
If you want to, you can learn about how to enable Google Playground Feature on your device. The guide written is basically for Redmi Note 7 Pro, but you can apply steps on your device in the same way.
03. OnePlus Slate Font
If you do love applying custom fonts systemwide, you will definitely love OnePlus Slate. It will change default fonts to the OnePlus Slate systemwide. So, no matter which app you are there will be OnePlus Slate font on the screen. Since the OnePlus Slate font has been removed from the Magisk modules repository, you will have to download the ZIP file from the Github and flash it manually.

Well, I have already enabled Camera2API without using this module so, I haven’t attached any screenshot.
