Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Started Receiving Stable Android Pie Update

Asus promised Android Pie update for Zenfone Max Pro M1, Zenfone Max Pro M2, and Zenfone Max M2 before April 15 and the company is sticking to their promises this time as one of the models started receiving Android Pie update.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 users started receiving Android Pie update today. The new update version is 16.2017.1903.050 which is 1552.1MB in size so make sure you have enough data to update your phone to Android Pie.

The new update comes with latest April security patch and has most of the features that come with Android Pie.

The new update will be sent to users in packets so if it isn’t showing in your device, then don’t be panic you will receive the update soon in next few days. Asus has not provided the ZIP file to update so you can’t manually update your device to Android Pie just yet.

The new update will not erase the data of your Android so you can update to Pie without worrying about your phone’s data. There is no sign of update in Max Pro M2 or Max M2 yet so make sure to stay tuned with us for future updates.
