Ever since a new report emerged claims, HMD Global will launch the 5G smartphone in 2019, we didn’t go through any tough information. According to the new report from NokiaPowerHouse, it appears HMD Global is in talks with the Qualcomm to bring a 5G handset which could come in the third quarter of this year.
According to the source who is familiar with Nokia’s movement claims, Nokia will launch two handsets. One of which will feature flagship internals and another one will be a budget handset which could be known as Nokia 8.2. It’s easy to guess internals. Of course, a flagship handset will pack mighty Snapdragon 855 process under the hood. While there isn’t alleged processor for Nokia 8.2.
However, for budget Nokia 8.2, HMD Global could go for Snapdragon 700 lineup. And the Snapdragon 735 can be a perfect fit because it features Qualcomm’s 5G modem. Since the Nokia 9 PureView successor will, of course, feature flagship internals. But apart from that Nokia 8.2 will be a successor of Nokia 8.1 if the information is true.
These two new handsets are expected to hit somewhere in the third quarter of this year. So, now, it depends upon the source. If they are right.
